The terms that govern your use of SinoCorridor's product sourcing services.
Last updated: July 21, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SinoCorridor platform (the "Platform"), operated by SinoCorridor ("we", "us", or "our"), a China-based product sourcing company serving clients across Southern Africa. By creating an account, submitting a quote request, or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
SinoCorridor acts as a sourcing intermediary and procurement agent. We help businesses and individuals ("you", the "Client") source products from manufacturers and suppliers in China, arrange quality inspection, manage shipping and logistics, and handle customs clearance for delivery to destinations in Southern Africa. We are not the manufacturer or direct seller of the goods. We facilitate transactions between you and third-party suppliers on platforms including but not limited to Alibaba, AliExpress, 1688, Taobao, and DHgate.
To use certain features you must register an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to register. By registering you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Product listings on the Platform are reference examples and do not constitute offers to sell at a fixed price. All orders begin with a quote request. Quoted prices are estimates based on supplier costs, quantities, and prevailing exchange rates at the time of quoting, and are valid for the period stated on the quote (typically 14 days) unless otherwise indicated. SinoCorridor reserves the right to revise a quote if supplier costs, material prices, or freight rates change before an order is confirmed. An order is only binding once you accept a quote in writing and we confirm acceptance.
You may submit custom sourcing requests describing products you wish us to source, including reference images, target prices, and budgets. We will use reasonable efforts to identify suitable suppliers and present options. The information you provide is indicative; final specifications, pricing, and lead times are confirmed in the resulting quote. SinoCorridor is not liable for inability to source a product where no suitable supplier can be identified.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, orders require a deposit (typically 30–50% of the total) before production or procurement begins, with the balance due before shipment. Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, PayPal, Western Union, letter of credit, and trade assurance. You are responsible for any bank fees, currency conversion charges, and taxes associated with your payment. Production or shipment will not commence until cleared funds are received.
Estimated lead times are provided in good faith based on supplier information but are not guaranteed. Production timelines may be affected by supplier capacity, material availability, public holidays, and other factors outside our control. We will communicate any material delays as soon as we become aware of them.
Where agreed, SinoCorridor conducts pre-shipment quality inspections against an agreed checklist. Inspection reports are provided in good faith and represent our assessment at the time of inspection. Inspection does not constitute a warranty that goods are free from all defects, and we are not liable for latent defects not detectable during a reasonable inspection.
We arrange shipping by sea freight, air freight, rail, or express courier as selected. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, shipping terms are FOB or EXW from the supplier, with SinoCorridor arranging freight forwarding on your behalf. You are responsible for all import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, and regulatory compliance in the destination country. SinoCorridor assists with customs documentation but is not liable for delays or seizures caused by destination-country authorities or inaccurate information provided by you.
Risk in the goods passes to you upon handover to the carrier at the point of dispatch, unless a delivered-duty-paid (DDP) arrangement is expressly agreed in your quote. Delivery dates are estimates. SinoCorridor is not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
Because goods are sourced and often manufactured to order, returns are generally not accepted except for confirmed quality defects identified before shipment or where a supplier's own return policy applies. Claims for defects must be notified within 7 days of delivery with supporting evidence. Refunds, where due, are processed after recovery from the supplier and may take 30–60 days. Custom-manufactured goods are non-refundable except for confirmed defects.
You may not request SinoCorridor to source goods that are illegal, counterfeit, restricted, or prohibited under the laws of China or the destination country, including but not limited to weapons, narcotics, counterfeit branded goods, and restricted electronics. We reserve the right to refuse any request at our discretion.
You agree not to misuse the Platform, including submitting false information, attempting to bypass fees, infringing intellectual property, or using the Platform for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
All content on the Platform, including the SinoCorridor name, logo, and materials, is owned by SinoCorridor or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our branding without prior written consent.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SinoCorridor acts as a sourcing agent and is not the manufacturer of goods. Our liability is limited to the service fees charged for the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts or omissions of third-party suppliers and carriers beyond our reasonable control.
You agree to indemnify and hold SinoCorridor harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Platform, your orders, inaccurate information you provide, or your breach of these Terms.
SinoCorridor is not liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, war, strikes, government action, or supply-chain disruptions.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in good faith through negotiation, and failing that, through arbitration in Shanghai, China.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Questions about these Terms can be directed to info@sinocorridor.shop or our Shanghai office: A35, 10th Floor, 1136 Xingzhai Road, Jing'an District, Shanghai, China.
